I've decided that although Xanga has greatly entertained me in a variety of ways, it is time to cut it off.

in other words, it's time to let this site die.

before I stop coming here, I just wanted to do give out some accolades to fellow Xanga sites for the next few days.  you can call them "Xangy Awards" or whatever

For today, I made a list of candidates for "best" awards.  Then I looked through my list and picked out the Xangas

Longest entries :: essenceoffantasy (Steph)

Funniest posts:
GuyoaMi (Wendell)

Most insightful:
totallyskates (Grace)

Most active:
GuyoaMi (Wendell, again)

Most popular:
zZzxtinezZz (Christine)

Most random:
discipleXslayer (Shawn)

Most enjoyable:
lizaroo (Liz)

Most informative:
talltertle (Humphrey)

and finally,

Best Xanga: PigsDrowninginCoke (Eileen, although I doubt any of you know her.. )

And Blogring you shoud join if you haven't already: ~The Michiganders~

This is just for the Xangas I thought that fit best under the categories I made.  I'll try to give everyone something though, so hang on

Stuff I noticed about playing the violin (typing this late in a grumpy mood)

1) chair seatings don't mean didley squat.  The person in front of you is probably not better and the person behind you isn't much worse

2) Fiorillo or whatever is the hardest thing I've ever tried to play.  Why the heck am I even attempting to play it is a mystery.  Picture Trilling D and E (on the Astring) AND E and F(on the Dstring)
... AT THE SAME TIME.

3) Humphrey knows more technique to the violin then I will ever know to spinning a pen.  I didn't know playing the violin is so complicated

4) If you don't make it into symphony, drop orchestra.  It's just not worth draggin it out.  Take classes that will actually be useful (and wouldn't cost thousand dollars to go on week long fieldtrips)

5) I'm always really annoyed when I see someone worse than me at the violin blasting away.  Now I realized that I'm probably annoying to those people better than me

6) Concert orchestra is the epitome of terribleness.  If I don't make it into symphony next year, I don't deserve to call myself a good violinist.

THE FOUR STAGES OF LIFE:

      1)    You believe in Santa Claus.
      2)    You don't believe in Santa Claus.
      3)    You are Santa Claus.
      4)    You look like Santa Claus.

 SUCCESS:

At age  4  success is . . . not peeing in your pants.
At age 12 success is . . . having friends.
At age 16 success is . . . having a drivers license.
At age 35 success is . . . having money.
At age 50 success is . . . having money.
At age 70 success is . . . having a drivers license.
At age 75 success is . . . having friends
At age 80 success is . . . not peeing in your pants.

Got a better post:

BELATED SATURDAY FUN

GREAT TRUTHS
GREAT TRUTHS THAT LITTLE CHILDREN HAVE LEARNED:

1) No matter how hard you try, you can't baptize cats.
2) When your Mom is mad at your Dad, don't let her brush your hair.
3) If your sister hits you, don't hit her back. They always catch the  second  person.
4) Don't sneeze when someone is cutting your hair.
5) You can't hide a piece of broccoli in a glass of milk.

GREAT TRUTHS THAT ADULTS HAVE LEARNED:

1) Raising teenagers is like nailing Jell-O to a tree.
2) Wrinkles don't hurt.
3) Families are like fudge...mostly sweet, with a few nuts.
4) Laughing is good exercise. It's like jogging on the inside.
5) Middle age is when you choose your cereal for the fiber, not the toy.

GREAT TRUTHS ABOUT GROWING OLD

1) Growing old is mandatory; growing up is optional.
2) Forget the health food. I need all the preservatives I can get.
3) You're getting old when you get the same sensation from a rocking chair that you once got from a roller coaster.
4) It's frustrating when you know all the answers but nobody bothers to ask you the questions.
5) Time may be a great healer, but it's a lousy beautician.
6) Wisdom comes with age, but sometimes age comes alone.

"You know, it's kinda ironic.  The old people are kept alive with the organs of the young people they run over."
-Chief Wiggim

Time to make more RSVPMX.  Quite a few people wanted me to make one for them, but the problem is the pen costs 5 dollars. (hey, the parts cost 4 dollars.  I need to make a profit somehow )

So I decided to give a link.  It teaches you how to make your own pen.
http://www.pentrix.com/articles/kams_RSVP_v1.html
But the drawback is... it's only a RSVP version1.  unbalanced, not visually impressive, and not long enough for cool tricks.  The RSVPMX takes so much more time to make.  But if you think 5 dollars is too much, I suggest you make the very simple version yourself
